The Discovered Hardware Assets not Managed report contains computer assets (CIs) that have been detected through the discovery process, but that do not have a link to a corresponding hardware asset item in the IT Asset Management Pack. An asset is not considered to be managed by the IT Asset Management Pack if it is not linked to a specific CI. Also, if the CI is associated with a disposed or returned hardware asset item, it is not shown in the report. You may wish to review the assets you are not currently managing and add them to the IT Asset Management Pack.
Use the parameters section at the top of the report to filter by the following:
Domain
Is Virtual Machine
Start Date
End Date
The report has the following information:
Computer: The display name of the CI that is linked to the asset.
Serial Number: The serial number from the CI linked to the asset.
Primary User: The primary user from the CI linked to the asset.
Domain: The domain name from the CI linked to the asset.
Virtual Machine: A yes or no condition that depends on whether or not the CI is a virtual machine.
Last Inventory: The last inventory date from the CI linked to the asset.
